Woof, Woof! Newbarks as a New Footwear Phenomenon?

Just got a Net-a-Porter.com mailer about a new label from L.A., NewbarK, by a pair of stylist sisters Maryam and Marjan Malakpour. Apparently, they're unisex and work on all types of terrain: indoors, outdoors, rain, sand and city sidewalks. They're even rumored to bump "ballet flats" as the functional (or comfortable) chic shoe. The retail price is $350 a pair. Yay or nay?

  1. I like! I like the style alot actually, however at $195, they might be a little more appealing...don't you think???

  6. I'm quite 'meh' on them. I kind of see the appeal, but the shiny black ones sort of look like garbage bags on the foot because they are so loose. I'd wear the silver ones around the house if they didn't cost $350.

  7. NAY!
They may cost $300+ but they look cheap and nasty.
Sorry love, don't agree with you on this one!
